Council H, No. 105. Records include a constitution, by-laws, records of committee meetings, roster of members, and list of officers created by the Salem Union League from 1863 to 1864. The Salem Union League was established in 1863 to promote patriotic sentiment in the local Salem community. Members included well-known local individuals such as Manuel Fenollosa, Robert Rantoul, Joseph Stickney, William G. Choate and Joseph H. Webb.
